I heard something about a convention. When and where is the next one?
We have a state convention every year. The next one is in May 2005, and will be in Mahnomen, MN, at the casino conference center. It will be hosted by the Minneapolis and NW Suburbia chapters.

The state convention is where all the state level business of the association is conducted from adding or changing of state rules and bylaws to the election of new state officers, to the introduction of new programs/procedures, etc. It is a gathering of all interested members within the state as well as attendance by our Region V National Field Vice President, and usually a keynote speaker and guest from national HQ. It is very informative, educational and enjoyable. It also provides a forum for meeting others involved in the operation of the association within our state. All members are encouraged to attend.
